This may seem a little morbid since it's a gravestone, or a little disrespectful since it's a cartoon character on a gravestone memorializing the deceased.
Truth is, this is my family's gravestone. The most recent buried there, my grandfather. My Papa loved Mickey. He always referred to Mickey as his "best friend". He was even mentioned in my grandfather's obituary. My son, boyfriend, and I go visit frequently, and Owen always brings Mickey. Because of the snow, and my almost 3 year old wanting to play in it, Mickey took a seat. This is where my son placed him, and I know it would make my grandfather extremely happy. :)
All that said, I decided this to be my first of 365 pictures to come this year. <3
